Stepping into the millennium, the second generation of the family decided to take on the challenge to shape a new path. Actively working with garment makers all over China and introducing Italian consultants. A series of rebrand and R&D were introduced in the company.

In 2000, Yongxing Textiles was renamed to Chuangyi Textiles.

“Chuang” means “to Create”, “Yi” means “Artistry”.

2000
Italy

Traveled to Europe to research cutting-edge fabric and fashion trends.

Exchanged ideas with Italian factory owners, purchased machinery, and returned to Shishi to upgrade the production line.

2003

Chuangyi opened its first workshop, a cotton sueding place in Xi Bin (West Bund), Jinjiang County. Brushed cotton was driving the trend during that time.

2004 - 2006
First dyed, then brushed, the fabric grows a soft, gentle nap that warms the touch — airy yet light. Style 601#, the pattern-brushed pure cotton, was the signature product of Chuangyi during this era.
2005
Chuangyi's interwoven fabric series — represented by style 722#, "Yongxing Tencel Cross Stripe" — includes TC, NC, TNC, and other blends. These products once took the fabric market by storm and have long been regarded as the leading name in interwoven textiles.
